We are extremely concerned about the spread of COVID-19. We are committed to helping our customers and employees get through this difficult period. To keep the virus from spreading we ask that you limit contact with our employees.

If you come to our offices to pay your bill, leave your payment in the drop box at the door. You can also pay online, by phone, and by mail. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping everyone safe. Please call us if you need help setting up your account online or need any other services.

You are responsible for your total gas bill. Consumers Gas Company understands these are difficult times and are here for you. If you or your business has been affected financially by the COVID-19 crisis, you are encouraged to pay what you can or contact us to make payment arrangements so you don’t fall too far behind. Consumers Gas Company will work with each customer who seeks our help in paying their account in full or over an agreed upon period of months. We are offering a deferred payment agreement with a lower down payment that can be spread over several months up to a 12-month period. We will do everything we can to help you get your account up to date.

As of 3/16/2020, Consumers Gas Company stopped disconnections for non-payment and stopped all late fees. Reconnection fees have also been suspended. Consumers Gas Company will not disconnect for non-payment, will not charge penalties for late payments and will not charge reconnection fees to customers at the same address as the disconnection until January 1, 2021.
